Nerve Hydrodissection

With peripheral nerve entrapments, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, the surrounding tissue or fascia compresses the nerve and causes symptoms such as pain, numbness and tingling.  Nerve hydrodissection is an ultrasound-guided injection of a solution of 5% buffered dextrose to separate nerves from the surrounding adjacent structures.  This minimally invasive technique can provide symptom relief and promote the restoration of nerve function.
